The new X-Reference series CD-player, an excellent mechanic inside a crystal casket, a frame made of precious wood lacquered in pianoblack. The XCD 50SE is a state-of -the-art DAC converter with an 24/192 kHz asynchronous USB input.

Front: wood finishing lacquer piano. The casket smoked covers the CD slot. Steel buttons with central OLED display to show all functions.

The CD mechanisms are exclusively designed for audio applications; hence an extremely low jitter level and excellent performances in audio data retrieving (focus and radial tracking). The servo board is also the fruit of Philips experience in optical data retrieving. As a consequence, the modules provide excellent playability for high-end audio applications, even with damaged discs (black dots, fingerprints, …) Remote control made ​​with high quality materials, enables a simple and convenient use of the device.
