Ambitious project dedicated to all vinyl lovers. Onix dedicates this turntable to anyone looking for a final product. Eight years of design to get the maximum playback performance of your favourite discs. Engineer Edward Allen described it as being a sober and simple product, fully satisfied with his work designed together with ONIX staff. This turntable can be considered as the evolution of the English turntables.

Construction of the turntable

ONIX ECLIPSE NOB ADJUSTThe external structure is entirely made of solid aluminum. The panels that make up the turntable are joined together on each side with an antivibration interlocking designed by means of CAD programs that simulate the external vibrations in order to reduce them to zero. The external vibrations are eliminated by its particular internal structure.

ONIX ECLIPSE ENGINE

Motor in C.C. 24 synchronous poles SS (Super Silent). Its speed is controlled by a sensor located under the plate. An intelligent micro display allows the working of circuits by means of precise trimmers located on the front of the turntable. The electronic circuitry is completely isolated in order not to create resonances.

ONIX ECLIPSE DISH

The plate is made of aluminum with CNC technology, starting from a solid piece of metal that drastically reduces the mechanical resonance. The pin of the plate is made with a special ceramic which allows to have a rotation without friction.

ONIX MAGNETIC KNOB

During the rotation, the plate is suspended by a magnetic field induced by the base of the turntable, the revolutionary project, the fluctuations are virtually non-existing thus allowing a formidable sound reproduction.

ONIX TONEARM REGA250 ECLIPSESophisticated and historical arm of REGA RB-250 optimized for this turntable. The inner point where the arm is inserted is made with a very hard and anti- vibrating special wood coming from Canada. This makes the arm exceptionally isolated from external vibrations.

ONIX FEET ABSORBER ECLIPSE

Feet made of steel with FAB Technology (Feet Absorber Ball), adjustable in height with a high degree of isolation from external vibration.

ONIX PHONO MM MCA peculiarity of this turntable is a sophisticated phono board (MM and MC) integrated into it. It is completely isolated and properly realized in discrete components. The power supply of the external phono board is external with its own personal power supply.

The result is clearly excellent, the reproduction of midrange is very open with a focus of extraordinary voices, always well defined and in foreground.
